Course Overview

This qualification recognises the role of highly skilled senior operators who combine a broad range of hospitality skills with strong managerial abilities and in-depth industry knowledge to coordinate hospitality operations. They work independently, take responsibility for team performance, and make a variety of operational business decisions.

It offers a pathway to roles such as departmental manager or small business manager across any sector of the hospitality industry. Employment opportunities span restaurants, hotels, motels, catering services, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. The qualification supports both multi-skilling and the development of specialised expertise in areas such as accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage, and gaming.

Duration:

24 Months (2 Years)

Pre-requisite:

  • Must be 18 years old or above
  • SPM/UEC/Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) OR
  • High School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent OR
  • A Certificate IV or equivalent 
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.0 or equivalent (Those students who do not meet the minimum English requirement will need to package this program with an English Course before proceeding to this qualification).
